Built for the people who keep our communities running.

SocietyHub started from a simple experience: helping a local community group get on top of their governance and admin. What we found was a pattern repeated across New Zealand – volunteers doing their best with limited time, limited tools, and growing compliance obligations.

At the same time, we were building skills in automation and modern software. We saw an opportunity to combine those two things: practical governance knowledge with technology that actually works for small organisations.

Wellington Roots

We are a Wellington-based team with over 15 years of experience in public sector governance and administration in New Zealand. We understand how policy and regulation translates to real-world operations – and we have designed SocietyHub around that understanding.

Data Stored in New Zealand

All SocietyHub customer data is hosted on Catalyst Cloud – 100% New Zealand-owned and operated cloud infrastructure. We are grateful to Catalyst Cloud for supporting SocietyHub through their Development Programme.

Your member records never leave New Zealand, and are handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

We are a small Wellington-based team – and like many of the organisations we serve, we balance SocietyHub alongside other commitments. Every message gets a real reply, though not always instantly.
